APERÇU DU PAYS

IMPACT deployed a REACH team to Mozambique in the wake of Cyclone Idai which hit the coastal city of Beira by force in March 2019. Beira, home to 500,000 people, was severely damaged with initial estimates of damage levels rising as high as 90 percent. The assessment team facilitated primary data collection on the ground, while a team of IMPACT’s Geographic Information Systems or GIS experts produced maps on the scale of damage in the city and neighbouring areas.
