We are currently looking for a Research Manager to lead our Post Distribution Monitoring Unit in Ukraine.  

IMPACT is seeking an experienced professional with knowledge and technical expertise in the thematic areas of Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM) and multi-purpose cash assistance (MPCA) for the position of Research Manager in Ukraine. The ideal candidate will be eager to lead a dynamic team in a complex humanitarian emergency, and to oversee assessments to inform the rapidly scaling-up cash-based response in Ukraine. The RM will lead a team who are implementing the IMPACT portion of a large Ukraine-wide cash consortium intervention, consisting of information management activities, cash assessments, vulnerability targeting, socioeconomic assessments, and additional activities as discussed and agreed with the consortium lead.

The overall goal of the RM will be to ensure the smooth running of activities, and he/she will be responsible for the implementation of the work streams within the unit, and for providing leadership and technical support to the PDM team across all research cycles. This will include operational and programmatic oversight of PDM/MPCA activities across Ukraine, and management of the PDM Unit consisting of up to 6 HR contracted staff, as well as large enumerator teams on service contracts. In addition, the RM is responsible for the oversight of project implementation, supporting the Operations Manager in terms of logistics, administration, HR, logistics, partner coordination, reporting, grants management, and finance, and providing input to the strategic development of IMPACT in Ukraine. The position is based in Ukraine, with the specific base to be discussed with the candidate.
