On Monday December 23rd 2013, REACH Jordan hosted a ministerial coordination meeting in Amman between the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, Ministry of Interior, and Ministry of Municipal Affairs. The purpose of the meeting was to set the framework for REACH’s engagement with local government in northern Jordan as part of its ongoing assessments to support Jordanian host communities impacted by the Syrian refugee crisis. Aside from agreeing on the agenda for the most immediate activities, discussions were also held around formalising the partnership between the Government of Jordan and REACH more generally, as well as the possibility for long-term collaboration on assessments in Jordan.
