Working in partnership is at the core of all IMPACT programmes. IMPACT promotes a collaborative approach among international aid actors, national and local stakeholders and communities in order to improve the effectiveness and quality of aid delivery. Partnerships are built at local, country, regional and global levels.

IMPACT is an active member of the global humanitarian and aid system and supports established inter-agency coordination mechanisms. This work is most notably done through IMPACT’s participation in several bodies of the Inter-Agency Standing Committee, as well as through active engagement in global humanitarian clusters and thematic and sectoral networks.

Furthermore, IMPACT partners with other research organisations, the academia and specialized agencies. Through these partnerships, IMPACT contributes to broader efforts to improve research activities and outcomes in contexts of crisis and ensures the continuous adaptation of best practices into its work. IMPACT – IPC Global Partnership

In June 2025, IMPACT officially became an IPC Global Partner, formalising a long-standing and mutually supportive collaboration with the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC), the leading global standard for classifying food insecurity and acute malnutrition. This partnership represents an important recognition of IMPACT’s role as a trusted actor in food security and nutrition analysis and strengthens its ability to influence not only how data is collected, but also how it is used in decision-making.
