In 2025, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) estimated that 6 million people in Haiti would have humanitarian needs. The growing number of people in need reflects the challenges faced by Haitians, including the persistence of violence, political and social instability, and exposure to climate hazards.
