Mass Communication Assessment_Domiz Camp-001

To better understand the efficiency of the means of mass communication used in Domiz refugee camp in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI), REACH facilitated a rapid assessment in December 2013. Findings reveal that when used separately, none of the mass communication media allows aid actors to reach the entire refugee population. The assessment also found that most refugee households are willing to use a Facebook group to access public anouncements about the situation in Domiz camp, notably in terms of facilities and services provided by aid actors. Key findings from the rapid assessment are are presented in a fact-sheet.
